April in Amsterdam

April is an exciting time in Amsterdam. As the weather warms, buds and bulbs continue to show their colors; one of the best places to see them is the famous Keukenhof Gardens, less than an hour from the city. Toward the end of the month, one of my favorite annual exhibits -- the World Press Photo Exhibit -- comes to the Oude Kerk. And all month long visitors will feel the build-up toward Queen's Day, the biggest party of the year. Come experience Amsterdam in April!
