Spend Vrijdag Night with Van Gogh

Tuesday May 13, 2008
Did you know that this Friday night you could spend the evening in Amsterdam surrounded by paintings by Van Gogh and his 19th-century peers? Visitors should know that the must-see Van Gogh Museum is open until 10 p.m. on Friday nights, when DJs and special performances accompany the collection and special exhibitions. Not a bad way to spend an evening inside. And this weekend marks the final few days of the John Everett Millais exhibition in the museum's annex. Hurry and see Ophelia before she disappears.

Find out what else you can expect at one of Amsterdam's most treasured attractions -- including programs for children and how not to wait in line -- in this Visitor's Guide to the Van Gogh Museum.
