Elephants Will Soon Parade in Amsterdam
Beginning September 5, some 100 baby Asian elephants will grace the streets of Amsterdam. True, they'll only be replicas of the lovable pachyderms, but they'll be every bit as eye-catching with artful designs and patterns painted on them for a charitable cause. Learn all about the traveling philanthropic effort, the Elephant Parade, which has already enjoyed success in Rotterdam and Antwerp. The Amsterdam edition is the largest one yet and will run through October 31.
