Medieval Amsterdam: The Nieuwe Kerk

Another of Amsterdam's spectacular medieval monuments, the Nieuwe Kerk, or "New Church", has held onto its monnicker since it was founded in the 15th century, when it was called "new" only to differentiate it from the "old" Oude Kerk.
